IOT lesson 10- Smart parking system

For the 10th lesson of the IOT program, I couldn’t complete it physically, but I learned about it through a video my professor showed me, and I want to share my insights. The reason I am unable to complete the project physically is due to the fact that I do not have a servo motor, which is needed for the gate to the parking lot.

What is the smart parking system?

This project has some major features, as follows:

1 counts how many cars are there inside the parking lot and doesn’t allow more cars if the parking lot is full.

2-an automatic gate that uses IR sensors to locate the car and open the gate if there is space inside. The exit also automatically opens and closes.

Some limitations of the project are that the gate allows anyone to enter and is not limited to a ticket system, which would make the project more realistic and advanced.
